Holistic Cancer Care Support

The cancer journey is not only about the treatment decision. Holistic care covers everything around that decision too.

What does holistic care mean?

Holistic care treats nutrition, pain, sleep, psychological resilience and the need for social support as part of the care plan, alongside the treatment decision itself.

These areas directly affect the success of treatment. A patient who eats well, whose pain is controlled and who has psychological support tolerates treatment better.

Why is it as important as the treatment decision?

The right treatment decision is not enough on its own; it also has to be liveable. Side effects, fatigue and psychological burden can make even the best plan unsustainable.

What it covers

  • Nutrition counselling and a plan suited to the treatment process
  • Psycho-oncology support for patients and their relatives
  • Pain management and symptom control
  • Palliative care and quality-of-life planning
  • Physical rehabilitation and activity support
  • Guidance on social and legal rights
